

A native of McComb, Miss., he was born May 23, 1932, and died Thursday, March 18, 2010. He was a resident of Gonzales and a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, serving in the Korean War. Visitation will be at Ourso Funeral Home in Gonzales on Sunday, March 21, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Visitation will continue at the funeral home on Monday from 11:30 a.m. until service time at 12:30 p.m. Interment will be at Greenoaks Memorial Park. He is survived by his wife, Olivia Nicolosi Foster; sons, Edwin E. Foster Jr. and wife Cheryl, Michael Foster, Donald Foster and wife Becky, Daryl Foster and wife Ray Lynn, Gary Foster and wife Meredith, and Craig Foster and wife Laurie; a sister, Nelda Bunch; sister-in-law, Linda Foster; a brother, Charles Ray Foster; 16 grandchildren, Donnie Foster, Timothy Foster, Michele Stewart, Darrin Foster, Kelly Foster, Amy Foster, ChereŽ Fontenot, Earl Glenn Foster, Jaime Butitta, Blane Foster, Cristy Busby, Jody Foster, Joshua Foster, Caleb Foster, Jeremy Foster and Nathan Foster.; and 14 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis Ray and Gladys Lucille Meyers Foster; a great-grandson, Joshua Foster Jr.; and a brother-in-law, R.J. Nicolosi. Pallbearers will be Timothy Foster, Kelly Foster, Glenn Foster, Jody Foster, Blane Foster and Joshua Foster. Honorary pallbearers are Donnie Foster, Darrin Foster, Caleb Foster, Nathan Foster and Jeremy Foster.
