Eldridge F. Dixon

Eldridge "Pat" Dixon, age 66, died on Monday, May 20, 2013 in St. Amant, LA. A native of Acy, LA and a resident of St. Amant, LA, he was a retired Pipefitter with Local #198 Steamfitters Union. He is survived by his wife, Amy Prohaska Dixon of St. Amant, LA; daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Byron Folse, Sr. of Head of Island, LA; two sons and daughters-in-law, Jerry and Gladys Dixon of St. Amant, LA and Randal and Tara Dixon of St. Amant, LA; sister and brother-in-law, Audrey and Armand Marchand, III of Gonzales, LA; brother and sister-in-law, Dallas and Patsy Dixon of St. Amant, LA; six grandchildren, Bryan, Maygan and Londyn, Tyler, Quinton and Colby; two step grandchildren, Byron, Jr. and Jadi Folse; and three step great grandchildren. Also survived by four step-daughters and their families. Mr. Pat was preceded in death by his first spouse of 42 years, Bessie Dixon; parents, Forest Lee and Mable Glasscock Dixon. Pallbearers will be Jason LeBourgeois, Jason Dixon, Quinton LeBlanc, Bryan Dixon, Tyler Dixon and Colby Dixon. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Joseph Hospice. Visitation will be held at Ourso Funeral Home, 13533 Airline Hwy., Gonzales, LA on Thursday, May 23, 2013 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Visitation will resume on Friday, May 24, 2013 at New River Baptist Church, 45270 Hwy. 429, St. Amant, LA from 9:00 a.m. until religious services at 11:00 a.m. celebrated by Rev.
