Felix Lipoma Sr.

Felix Lipoma, Sr., age 73, passed away in West Feliciana Parish on Tuesday, January 20, 2015. He was a native of Bunkie, LA and resident of Gonzales, LA. Felix was a wonderful husband and Papa. He was an avid deer hunter and loved to cook. Felix was in the Navy and served on the USS Lexington Aircraft Carrier from 1959 to 1962. Felix retired from Uniroyal Chemical Plant after serving 42 years as a plant shift supervisor. He was an excellent boxing coach at Gonzales Boxing Club. He is survived by his loving wife, Susan Lipoma; daughter, Brianna Leigh Lipoma, sons, Jessie Ray Lipoma, Felix Kirk Lipoma, Jr., Patrick Wade Lipoma, Jason Lee Lipoma; sisters, Virginia Lipoma, Carmel Lipoma, Mary Fanara; brothers, Anthony Lipoma, Mike Lipoma; grandchildren, Shyler, Jhawna and Tilton Lipoma, Patrick, Dagire, Dallas and Baige Lipoma, Zachary and Reese Lipoma, Garrett, Emilee, Justin, Mckenzi and Sydnee Hawkins; great-great grandson, Sade Lipoma and numerous beloved nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Tony and Jancy Lipoma and brother, Francis Lipoma. Visitation will be held at Ourso Funeral Home in Gonzales on Friday, January 23, 2015 from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm with a service at 7:00 pm. Visitation will resume at Ourso Funeral Home of Gonzales on Saturday, January 24, 2015 from 8:00 am and will conclude at 9:00am. Visitation will resume again on Saturday, January 24, 2015 at Hixson-DuCote Funeral Home (302 Saint John St., Bunkie, LA 71322) from 11:00 am until service time at 12:00 pm.
