With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Frances, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, who left this world on February 14, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family. She was a woman of kindness, grace, and unwavering devotion to those she cherished. Born on January 29, 1957, Frances dedicated her life to creating beauty, both in the lives of those around her and through her lifelong passion as a florist. Flowers were not just her profession but her way of expressing love, joy, and comfort. Whether it was a simple bouquet or an elaborate arrangement, each creation was a reflection of her warmth and care. Above all, she loved her family with all her heart. Her children and grandchildren were the light of her life, and she poured endless love into every moment shared with them. She was a source of wisdom, laughter, and unconditional love—a guiding hand in times of need and a steadfast supporter in moments of triumph. Her home was always filled with love, and laughter. She is survived by her children, Elmo Lambert, Jerry Bourgeois (Megan), Adam Bourgeois (Shelley), Katey Bourgeois and Amanda Lambert and her grandchildren, Kelsi (Mason), Garrett, Layna, Blake, Elise, Mason, Dean, Mia, and Parker, who will forever hold her memory close. She also leaves behind her cherished siblings, Gregory Lambert (Debbie), Claudette Brommer (Scott), Don Lambert, Chris Lambert (Daphne), Mary Lebeau (Joe), Reed Lambert (Sharon), Paula Kliebert (Ricky) and Julie Bickham (Daniel), along with countless nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews all of whom she adored. Though she is no longer with us, her love will continue to bloom in our hearts, just as the flowers she so beautifully nurtured. She was preceded in death by her father, Elmo Lambert and mother, Annie Lambert. Though she has reunited with them in eternity. A celebration of her life will be held on Wednesday February 19, 2025 at Ourso Funeral Home in Gonzales from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM where we will gather to honor the incredible woman she was. The family kindly request that flowers be sent or brought to the service to fill the room with the beauty she adored. Rest peacefully, dear Frances. Your love, like the flowers you so lovingly arranged, will continue to bring beauty into the world.
