Gaynell Ann Holland

She was employed for many years by the State of Louisiana and also with DEQ. She was born on March 3, 1944 in Pierre Part, LA to Ura Mae and Minas Paul Hebert. She was a resident of Prairieville, LA.

She is survived by her loving husband Donald Holland; her three daughters and sons-in-law Donna and Paul Silvio, Paula and David Breaux, and Terri and Anthony Buquoi; six grandchildren Bryce Silvio, Lauren Silvio, Devin Breaux, Justyn Buquoi, Cody Breaux and Hunter Buquoi; sister and brother-in-law Rita and Frank Mistretta; sister Janifer Gauthreaux; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law James and Dusty Holland, Janet Holland Delage and Arthur Leroy Holland Jr and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by mother and father, Ura Mae and Minas Paul Hebert; sister Gail Breaux, brother-in-law Timothy Gauthreaux, mother-in-law Helen Holland Wolf; father-in-law Arthur Holland Sr; brother-in-law John Delage Jr; and nephew Gerald Breaux.

Pallbearers will be Paul Silvio, David Breaux, Anthony Buquoi, Bryce Silvio, Devin Breaux and Justyn Buquoi. Honorary pallbearers will be Lauren Silvio, Cody Breaux and Hunter Buquoi.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 16, 2016 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 15208 Highway 73 in Prairieville, LA from 8:00am to 10:30am followed by mass at 10:30am officiated by Father Jerry Martin and Deacon Randy Clement. Burial will take place at Serenity Oaks in Prairieville, LA immediately after mass.
