

Georgia Claire Gourdon passed away on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at just one month old.
Born on January 27, 2026 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Georgia’s life, though brief, was filled with immeasurable love and touched the hearts of all.
Georgia is survived by her loving mother, Anna Breland, and her father, Jarrett Gourdon. She is cherished by her maternal grandparents, Cline and Lori Breland, and her paternal grandmother, Ann Gourdon. She is also survived by her maternal great-grandparents, Edson and Sandy Brock; paternal great-grandparents, Dennis and Sharon Gourdon and Julie Miller; and her great-great-grandfather, James Singletary. Georgia leaves behind many loving aunts and uncles: Jordan and Nelson Chang and Sarah Breland on the maternal side, and Lori Gourdon on the paternal side. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Dennis “Beaux” Gourdon Jr.; her paternal great-grandfather, Leonard Miller; and her maternal great-grandparents, Ronald and Marian Oldendorf.
Though her time on earth was short, Georgia brought endless joy, hope, and love to her family. She will forever be remembered for the light she brought into the lives of those who held her close.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 6, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral service at 12:00 p.m. at Ourso Funeral Home, 13533 Airline Hwy, Gonzales. She will be laid to rest at Faithful United Methodist Church Cemetery, 14253 Hwy 431, Saint Amant.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the dedicated staff and care team of Woman’s Hospital NICU for their compassion and support, and to Louisiana Organ Procurement Agency (LOPA) for their care and guidance during this difficult time.
Georgia Claire Gourdon will be forever loved and deeply missed.
