Gerald Joseph Remondet

Gerald Joseph Remondet passed away at his residence in Prairieville, La on Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at the age of 72 years. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corp and retired from Dupont as a Diesel Mechanic. A Memorial Gathering will be held at Ourso Funeral Home, Gonzales, La. on Monday, Sept 13, 2021 from 5p.m. until 7p.m. He is survived by his daughter, Rachelle Remondet Dimm and husband Melvin; 2 sons, Shawn Remondet and wife Erin and Tanner Remondet and wife Lacy; 2 sisters, Laura St. Martin and husband L.J., and Cathy Wells and husband Lenny; 2 brothers, Michael Remondet Sr. and late Polly and companion Eliana, and Paul Remondet and wife Karen; 8 grandchildren, Chase, Carter, Cohen, and Cooper Dimm, Justin and Megan Remondet and Oliver and Willow Remondet; companion, Violet Hanner and numerous nieces nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife of 24 years, Betty Deslattes Remondet, son, Scott Remondet; parents, Claude and Elma Vicknair Remondet and 2 brothers, David and C.J. Remondet.
