Geralyn "Cootie" Theresa (Doiron) Achee

Geralyn Achee, a native of Rosedale, LA and resident of Baton Rouge, LA died on September 9, 2022 at her home at the age of 76. Geralyn was retired from the Dept. of Public Safety. She loved her family, LSU baseball, and her many trips to the casino with her best friends.

She was preceded in death by both of her parents, Roy “Blue” Doiron and Geraldine Carreras. She is survived by her daughter, Julie Cooper (Patrick); sons, Dwayne Achee (Kathy) and Todd Achee; seven grandchildren, Devon Achee, Alexandrine Achee, Ryan Achee, Madison Achee, Payton Cooper, Jordan Cooper, and Cheyenne Achee; three great-grandchildren, Elijah Gray, Toby Gray, and Abigail Achee; a brother, Tim Doiron; and a niece and nephew, Whitney Doiron and Wyatt Doiron.

Special thanks to her lifelong friends, Doby Murphy and Wayne Massie for always being there for her and loving her like we do.

Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation which will be held at St. John Catholic Church, 15208 LA-73, Prairieville, LA 70769 on September 13, 2022 from 9:30 am to 11:30 am with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 am. Burial will follow at Serenity Oaks Cemetery.
