Gertie Lambert Dickson

A loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Gertie Lambert Dickson was called home by God on November 12, 2022 at the age of 85. She was a native of St. Amant and a resident of Gonzales. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Charles Glen Dickson (Glen); mother, Lize Babin Lambert; father, Elie Lambert; and sister, Nettie Lambert Gautreau. She is survived by two of her sisters, Nita Lambert Clampitt and Maelise Lambert Millet. She is survived by her five daughters and sons-in-law, Rhonda Beckworth (Glenn), Gail Forrester (John), Teresa Rozier (Joe), Diane North, and Dana Avants (Wayne). She is survived by 11 wonderful grandchildren, Courtney Lockerman, Lauren Gaudin, Katie Beckworth, Lindsay North, Cameron Rozier, Derek Forrester, Christina Caruso, Easton Rozier, Sarah North, Beau Matulewski, and Grace Avants. She is also survived by her sweet great-grandchildren, Annabelle and Beck Lockerman and soon to arrive Cannon Caruso. Pallbearers include her adoring grandsons, Cameron Rozier, Derek Forrester, Easton Rozier, Eric Lockerman, Neale Gaudin, Juan Narvaez and Grant LaBorde. Visitation hours will take place at St. Mark Catholic Church, Gonzales, LA, on Thursday, November 17, 2022 from 9:00 am until mass at 11:00 am.
