Glenda Bordelon Gauthier

A native of Alexandria and resident of Gonzales, Glenda B. Gauthier passed away Saturday, January 24, 2015, at the age of 63. Glenda was a loving wife and mother who devoted her life to God and her family. She is survived by her husband, Terry J. Gauthier Sr.; daughters and sons-in-law, Laura and Nickie Musco Jr., Charity and Steve Marcotte, Elizabeth and Chad Istre, Sarah Gauthier, Jennifer Bourgeois; sons and a daughter-in-law, Terry Gauthier Jr., David and Stacey Gauthier, Michael Gauthier; sisters, Barbara Glover, Denise Juneau, Tina Moran; brother, Stanley Bordelon Jr.; 18 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by parents, Patricia Bordelon and Stanley J. Bordelon Sr. There will be a visitation at Ourso Funeral Home in Gonzales on Monday, January 26, 2015, from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Visitation will resume at the funeral home on Tuesday, January 27, 2015, from 9:00 a.m. until the funeral service at 12:00 p.m. conducted by Rev. Ken Spivey. Following, interment will be in Hope Haven Garden of Memory Cemetery in Gonzales. Pallbearers will be Terry Gauthier Jr., David Gauthier, Michael Gauthier, Chad Istre, Steve Marcotte Sr., and Nickie Musco Jr. Honorary pallbearers will be Nickie Musco III and Steve Marcotte Jr. The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center and to The Carpenter House, St. Joseph Hospice.
