Gloria Etta Savoy

Survivors are her daughters; Diane (Johnny) Gauthier, Lois “Laiche”(Donald) Schexnayder and Arlean (Jimmy) Duhe, her son; Jerry (Karen) Savoy, her sisters; Lois Johnson, Ida Mae Tureau, Estelle (Harris) Arceneaux and Louise (Solly) Boudreaux, her brother; Bentley “BJ” (Joyce) Rheams, 10 grandchildren; Shannon Roberts, Kent Tripp, Dustin Tripp, Paul Laiche, Tisha Louviere, Aslie Dedon, Hacie Neal, Jack Savoy, Sara Martinez, JJ Duhe and 19 great grandchildren. Mrs. Savoy was preceded in death by her husband; Franklin (Buster) Savoy, her parents; Bentley Rheams, Sr. and Sarah Roth Rheams, her brothers; AJ Rheam and Gerald Rheams.

Visitation will be Tuesday, January 17th from 5 to 9pm at Ourso Funeral Home in Gonzales and from 9 to 11am at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in St. Amant, on Wednesday January 18th, a Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11am, Fr. Michael Galea will officiate. Burial will follow in Holy Rosary Cemetery under the direction of Ourso Funeral Home.

Pallbearers are J.J. Duhe, Kent Tripp, Jake Savoy, Paul Laiche and Josh Martinez. Honorary pallbearers are Charlie Duhe, Sawyer Duhe, Logan Martinez
