Herman "Beau" Beaubouef

Herman “Beau” Beaubouef passed away on September 26,2025 at the age of 79. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife Laura K. Beaubouef; his children, Stephen Beaubouef (Mikey), Kristie Thompson, Brian Beaubouef (Sheree) and Shane Goodwin; his grandchildren, John Scott Thompson Jr., Hunter Lee Thompson, London Joseph Beaubouef, Eli Asher Goodwin, Ani Elise Goodwin and Emi Mae Goodwin; his brothers, Danny Beaubouef (Gloria) and Glen Beaubouef (Angela) and his fishing buddy Mike Duncan. He has now joined those who went before him in their heavenly home, his parents Odell & Ruby Beaubouef and his brother Charles Beaubouef. He is also survived by numerous family members and friends.

Beau loved being outdoors, especially if he was out fishing. He loved cooking for family and friends and would always have a good fish fry after a trip to Black Lake. He enjoyed watching LSU football and the Saints. Beau always wanted to travel and was able to enjoy a few trips recently. He truly was a one of a kind person who always wanted to help others in any way he could. His warm smile and kind heart will be greatly missed by all of those who knew and loved him.

A visitation for Beau will be held Thursday, October 2, 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Ourso Funeral Home, 13533 Airline Hwy, Gonzales, Louisiana 70737, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM. He will be laid to rest at 3PM at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, 4000 Monroe Hwy. Ball, LA 71405
