A resident of Gonzales, he passed away on Friday, August 28, 2015, at the age of 80. He was born in Sorrento on July 11, 1935 to Woodrow and Laura Guidry Lambert. Howard was a member of the Knights of Columbus and was an usher at St. Anne Catholic Church.
He is survived by his children, Beverly Borne (Robert), Marty Lambert, and Tim Lambert; sister, Bobbie Lambert; brother, Carl “C.J.” Lambert (Phyllis); sister in law, Gwen Lambert; grandchildren, Geoffery Lambert, Jason Lambert, Jennifer Delaune, Shauntel Deshautelles, Trina Borne, and Ashley Chauvin; 10 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wives, Margie Sullivan, Emelda Lambert, and Mary Grace Lambert; parents; brothers, James and Harris “Paul” Lambert; and a nephew Brent Lambert.
A visitation will be held at Ourso Funeral Home, Gonzales on Sunday, August 30, 2015 from 6 pm to 9 pm. Visiting will resume at St. Anne Catholic Church, Sorrento on Monday from 10 am until Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am. Interment to follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park, Baton Rouge.
