James passed away Thursday June 19, 2014 at his home in St. Amant, LA. at the age of 74. Visatation will be held at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in St. Amant, LA. on Saturday June 21, 2014 from 8 AM until a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM celebrated by Rev. Jon Koehler. Entombment will follow in the Holy Rosary Catholic Church Cemetery. Mr. James is survived by Five sisters, Etheline Bourque, Evelyn and spouse Marion Hymel , Elma (Tooney) and spouse Gilbert Melancon , Elaine and spouse Noah LeBlanc , and Linda Braud. Three brothers and spouses, Herman and Regina Bourgeois, Frankie and Eva Bourgeois and Glenn and Gloria Bourgeois. Mr. James is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. James was preceded in death by his parents Bertrand Andre and Lydia Marie Lambert Bourgeois and One brother, Andrew Bourgeois. Pallbearers will be Mr. James’s nephews.
