

Jerry was the beloved husband of Marybell LeBlanc, with whom he shared a lifetime of love and devotion. He was a gracious and caring father to Angelle Richard (Tyrone Richard), Michelle Coble (Peter Coble), Marcelle Kirsch, Amy Beal (William Mack Beal Jr.), and Jay LeBlanc (Taylor Fleury). His legacy of love extended to his cherished grandchildren: Kaylyn Crosby (Troy Crosby), Randy Wells Jr., Alyssa Beal, Thomas Coble, Trenton Wells, William Mack Beal III, Mikala Coble, Jaycob, Kellen, Oden, Jaycee LeBlanc, and Lucas Fleury LeBlanc, as well as his precious great-grandchildren, Mackenzie and Montgomery Crosby.
Jerry was the younger brother of Jules Joseph Jr. and the older brother of Lynel Stewart.
A proud graduate of Chalmette High School, Class of 1971, Jerry continued his education at LSU in General Studies before pursuing technical training. He was a graduate of both the LSU Fire and Emergency Training Institute and the Law Enforcement Training Academy, dedicating his life to public safety and emergency services.
His passion for helping others was evident in his lifelong career in fire service, where he primarily served on the medical side as a Nationally Registered Paramedic and later as an EMT. Jerry was a steadfast leader, serving as the EMS Captain for over 20 years and as a board member of the Sorrento Fire Department. His commitment to service extended to law enforcement, where he worked with multiple agencies, including the St. Bernard Sheriff’s Office, Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office, and Pearl River Police Department.
Jerry LeBlanc’s unwavering dedication to his community, his love for his family, and his commitment to service will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His warmth, wisdom, and generosity leave an enduring mark on the hearts of those he touched.

A memorial service for Jerry will be held Saturday, March 15, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Ascension Parish Fire Board, 13192 Airline Hwy, Gonzales, LA 70737.
