Jerry Lamar Winstead Jr.

Jerry Lamar Winstead, Jr., age 50, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, August 17, 2015. He was a native of Galveston, TX and resident of St. Amant. Jerry was employed as a Painter and Blaster at Belco Rubber Lining Company in Prairieville. Jerry is survived by his loving wife Mona Lynn Plauche Winstead of St. Amant, LA; mother, Betty Winstead of Gonzales, LA ; daughters, Gabrielle Winstead of St. Amant, LA and Danielle Sheese of Harvey, LA; sons, Derek Sheese and wife, Ashley, of Prairieville, LA; Jonathan Sheese of Prairieville, LA and Blake Sheese of Prairieville, LA; sister, Donna Winstead of Gonzales, LA; brothers, John "Johnny" Winstead and wife Candi, of St. Amant, LA, Ronnie Winstead and wife, Erica, of Gonzales, LA. Jerry is preceded in death by his father, Jerry Lamar Winstead, Sr. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 21, 2015 at Walker Pentecostal Church (9969 Florida Blvd., Walker, LA 70785) from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm. Visitation will resume Saturday, August 22, 2015 at Walker Pentecostal Church from 9:00 am until service time at 11:00 am, celebrated by Rev. Dwight Barber. Interment will immediately follow at Twin Pines Cemetery in Holden, LA. Derek, Jonathan, and Blake Sheese, John and Kori Winstead, Henry Rhodus, Gabrielle Winstead and Danielle Sheese will serve as pallbearers.
