Jim was a US Marine veteran who served his country in the Vietnam war. He worked in sales in the oil field for many years thereafter. Jim loved to travel with his wife and friends. They visited many national parks and traveled abroad. He also spoke often of how much he loved Hawaii while stationed there as a Marine.
Jim was a member of the Knights of Columbus at St John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Prairieville. He loved his family and friends dearly, and was always to be counted on. He was a generous person both with those he loved and many charitable organizations, especially those for Veterans and Native American Indians.
Often a man of few words, we never wondered how much he loved us.
