

17 years old and a junior at St. Amant High School, he died Wednesday, May 25, 2011 at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center after a courageous battle with colon cancer. He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Deanna Brashier Spring and Duke Spring, of St. Amant; father, Chris Drago, of Baton Rouge; maternal grandparents, Randy and Cindy Brashier, of Baton Rouge; step grandparents, Billy and Linda Ballard; paternal grandparents, Jimmy and Mary Snyder, of Zachary; two aunts, Cindy Lynn Brashier and April Brashier, both of Baton Rouge; cousin and best friend, Caleb Seifried; three cousins, Dylan Brashier and Tevin and Tayla Oliney; and two special friends, Dillon Barrick and Charles “Man” Collins. Preceded in death by an uncle, Floyd Brashier; great grandfather, Leo Brashier; and great grandmother, Irma Brashier. Visitation will be at Ourso Funeral Home in Gonzales on Saturday, May 28, 2011 from 10 am until religious services at 1 pm, with Chaplain Lisa Baumgartner officiating. Burial to follow in Hope Haven Garden of Memory in Gonzales. Pallbearers are Caleb Seifried, Charles Collins, Dillon Barrick, Chris Maggio, Chris LaCombe, Chris Drago, and Alan Hodges.
