Joseph Kirk Batts

Joseph “Kirk” Batts, passed away on Sunday, March 21, 2021 at the age of 63. He was a native of Baton Rouge, LA and a resident of Maurepas, LA. Kirk was the owner of Triple J’s Welding and Fabrication in Maurepas, LA. He was an all-around craftsman that liked building and working in his shop. He enjoyed watching NASCAR, working on the tractor in his yard, riding ATV’s, motorcycles and boats. He enjoyed camping and being with his dog, Tatum. Kirk was a friend to all and was loved by so many.

He is preceded in death by his son, Joseph Cory Batts; parents, Joseph “Dude” and Rita Hughes Batts. He is survived by his loving wife Diane Smith Batts; daughter Britnee Batts Dinecola and husband Anthony; grandson, Wyatt Luke Dinecola; sister, Tabby Jo Batts; brother in law, Paul Oliver and his wife Laura. Family and close friends of Kirk are invited to attend the Visitation on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at Maurepas Baptist Church from 9am-10am with Funeral Services immediately following.
