

A native of Baton Rouge and a resident of Gonzales, he passed away on Saturday, Jan. 7, 2012. He was 61 and retired from ExxonMobile where he worked as an operator for 39 years, and he loved LSU sports and Saints football. He was an avid sportsman. He is survived by two sons, Andrew "Andy" Chustz and fiancée Roxane Talbot, and Denny Chustz and wife Joni; grandchildren, Christian and Camille Chustz, Brittany and Cody Courtney, Riley Regira, and Ava and McKensie Chustz; sister, Faye Chustz Williams and husband Rodney; brother-in-law, Timmy Williams; honorary sister, Debbie Lee; niece, Alicia Williams; nephew, Bobby Williams; cousin and father figure, J.F. Chustz; cousin, Loretta Speligene; as well as numerous other cousins. Preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Anne Chustz; parents, Iris Tate Chustz and Joseph A. Chustz Sr.; maternal grandparents, Hez "Pops" and Eva Tate; paternal grandparents, James Ferdinand and Rachael Mary Langlois Chustz; and mother-in-law and father-in law, Haskel and Waunda Coupland Hanold. Memorial gathering at Ourso Funeral Home, Gonzales, on Thursday, Jan. 12, from 10:30 a.m. until memorial service at 1 p.m. Inurnment will follow at Hope Haven Garden of Memory Mausoleum, Prairieville.
