Julia "Judy" Davis

Mrs. Julia "Judy" Davis, native of Three Creeks, AR and resident of Gonzales, LA passed away at her home on Saturday, December 16, 2017 at the age of 88. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 19, 2017 from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm at Ourso Funeral Home of Gonzales, LA and again on Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at Ourso Funeral Home from 9:00 am until 11:00 am with the funeral service beginning at 11:00 am. A second visitation will be held on Thursday, December 21, 2017 from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm at Bailey Funeral Home of Eldorado, AR and again on Friday, December 22, 2017 at Bailey Funeral Home from 9:00 am until 11:00 am with the funeral service starting at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at Bethel Church Cemetery in Mount Holly, AR. Mrs. Davis enjoyed traveling with her family, crafting, spending time on the computer and watching television. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Gonzales. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her. She is survived by a daughter, Karen Denise Davis of Gonzales, LA; sons, John Kenny Davis and wife Donna of Baton Rouge, LA, Kevin Dale Davis and wife Candy of Minden, LA; grandchildren, Josh Davis of Eldorado, AR, Rosa Davis of Prairieville, LA, Vincent Davis of New Orleans, LA, Ariel Finch of Haynesville, LA, Julia Davis of Baton Rouge, LA, Alexis Burford of Ruston, LA, Cassie Peeples of Shreveport, LA, Anna Gardner of Minden, LA; great-grandchildren, Melodie, Emma, Jacob, Gavin, Baylor, Hailynn; sisters, Claudine "Dean" Owens of Eldorado, AR, Betty "Pete" Murphree of Eldorado, AR, Dorlene Owen of Eldorado, AR and brother, Boyd Owen of Columbus, MS. She was preceded in death by her husband, Brodus I. Davis; mother, Elsie Owen; father, Edgar Owen; sisters, Elizabeth Langley, Idell Oliver, Margie Sutton and brothers, Harold Owen, Willis Owen, Sam Owen and Winfred "Bill" Owen.
