

Jylane Veillon LeBlanc, 51, passed away Saturday May 21, at Our Lady of the Lake Hospital in Baton Rouge. Jylane loved her grandbabies and was always happy to be around all her family, cooking for family gatherings was her joy, she loved being on the lake fishing and boating, she was a huge football fan, loved her Saints and LSU. She had a morning routine, she loved her coffee and setting on the back porch reading scripture. She loved the music of Kid Rock and The Eagles, she was an avid racing fan, following Tony Stewart as her favorite driver, she had a button in her car she called her Tony Stewart Button and used that button quite often. Jylane was full of life, laughter, she always brought joy to those around her and she never met a stranger.
She is survived by her husband; James Rodney LeBlanc, Sr. of Maurepas, her mother; Betty E. Veillon of Gonzales, three daughters; Danielle Soulier of Erwinville, La, Crystal Soulier of Ocean Springs, Ms and Taylor Veillon of Gonzales, two step-sons; Jamey and Scott LeBlanc both of Baton Rouge. Two brothers; Greg Veillon of St. Amant and Shanon Veillon of Mouton, Al, Five grandchildren; Logan Soulier, Alyssa Walls, Conner Walls, Dannie-Skye Beck and Sarah LeBlanc.
Proceeded in death by her father; Mervin Veillon, her maternal grandparents; Maxine and Corrine Veillon, paternal grandparents; Joe M. and Effie Byrd Johnson, her aunt; Betty Jane Dailey.
Pallbearers are Keith Dailey, Davis Semar, David Boone, Jr., Jake Marchand, Jeremy Zeringue and Jack Beck.
Visitation starting Wednesday May 25th at 10am until her funeral service at 2pm in Ourso Funeral Home Chapel Fr. Jerry Martin will officiate, burial will follow at Hope Haven Cemetery in Prairieville.
