Kadyn Jones

Kadyn was born on September 13, 2003 in Baton Rouge to his loving parents Shantel Gayden and Montel Jones. His mom and dad were always proud of Kadyn's big heart and personality. He was silly from the start of life, always laughing and joking around. Even in his 2 year old birthday party family video, his sweet dancing and excitement to blow out the candles provoked laughter for anyone close by. In this life, he found his best friend in his little brother Karson; they were inseparable. He always loved helping his dad with construction projects; but nothing in this world exceeded the love he had for being a father to his daughter, Ava. He knew no greater love than her.

Kadyn leaves behind many loved ones to cherish his memories; his daughter Ava Jones and her mother, Destiney Wilson; mother Shantel Gayden; father Montel Jones; sisters Kendra Jones, Chloe Bringier, and Jakiyah Moore; brothers Karson Jones and Omarion Austin; grandmother Janie Gayden; grandfather Leonard Jones; nephew Khylen Washington; Godmother Leila Gayden; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

A visitation for Kadyn will be held Saturday, March 11, 2023 at Ourso Funeral Home, 13533 Airline Hwy, Gonzales, LA, from 11AM to 1PM. Funeral services will follow at 1PM. After the service, he will be laid to rest at Hope Haven Garden of Memory, 604 E Hwy 30, Gonzales, LA.
