

Keith Raymond Saucier, a native of Plaucheville, LA and resident of Gonzales, LA, passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by his family on Saturday, June 11, 2016 at the age of 58. Keith graduated from Plaucheville High School, attended LSU for 1 year and graduated from Baton Rouge VoTech. He was a former member and president of the East Ascension Sportsman League and Louisiana Wildlife Federation. Keith received numerous awards for conservation. He was committed to conservation and enjoyed fishing and bird watching. He was recognized for his perfect attendance at work at Rubicon. He recently received an award for "Excellence in Construction". Keith is survived by his loving wife, Cynthia Cavalier Saucier; parents, Dianne and Gerald Saucier; daughters, Nicole Wetzel, Krissie Deshautelles, Billie Logue; son, Jacob Saucier; sister, Renee Wolf; grandchildren, Rylan Hardy, Cameron Kyzar and Andre Logue and beloved dog, Missy. Keith is preceded in death by his son, Lyle Luke Saucier; grandson, Julian Kyzar; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Bet Guillory, Mr. and Mrs. DJ Saucier; cousins, Betsy Christianson and Jay Stark. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 14, 2016 at St. Mark Catholic Church from 11:00 am until Mass of Christian Burial at 1:00 pm. Interment will follow at Hope Haven Garden of Memories Cemetery. Jacob Saucier, Michael Wetzel, CJ Logue, Joseph Wolf, John Jagneaux, Gary Tanner, and Charles Moore will serve as pallbearers. To offer condolences to the family, please visit www.oursofh.com.
