Ken Bernard Sheets

Ken Bernard Sheets, a native of St. Amant and resident of Baton Rouge, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 26, 2018 at the age of 77. Ken was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother who enjoyed spending time and memories with his family. He was an avid LSU football fan and loved to go fishing. Ken is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Gail Patricia DeLaune Sheets; daughter, Staci Sheets Babin and husband, Jasper, Traci Sheets St. Pierre and husband Bo; son Jeff Sheets; grandchildren, Taylor, Luke, and Brianne Babin, Abby, Sarah, and Kate St. Pierre; sister, Karen “Tootie” Lambert and husband, Ronnie; brothers, Harold Sheets and wife, June and Wayne Sheets and wife, Sue. Ken is preceded in death by his parents, Gervis and Gussie Sheets; grandson, Bo St. Pierre; sister, Linda Sheets. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church from 10:00 am until Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 pm officiated by Fr. Eric Gyan. Interment will follow at Oak Lane Memorial Park.
