Kenneth C Villenurve

Kenneth Villenurve passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Dec 7, 2021 at the age of 75 after a lengthy illness. Ken is survived by his wife of 54 yrs, Vivian Gonzales Villenurve; Daughters, Denise Melancon (Duane), and Amy Gautreau (Shawn); Son, Brian Villenurve (Stacey); sister, Lorita Hughes and sister-in-law and brother-in-law Margaret and Joe Kernan. His grandchildren were his eyes. Kendal and Kaci Melancon, Dagan and Drew Villenurve, Sawyer Gautreau, Blair Hudson, Josie Brock and Sadie Stermer and 7 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Larry and Effie Guedry Villenurve and his in laws J.Y. and Marguerite Gonzales, his siblings, Audrey Lanoux, Larry P. Villeneuve, Earl Villenurve and Brenda Cunningham. He enjoyed fishing, classic cars, and afternoon coffee with friends and family. Services will be held at St. Mark Catholic Church 42021 LA-621, Gonzales, LA 70737 on Dec 13, 2021. A recitation of the rosary will be said at 9 AM with visitation from 9:30 AM until Mass of Christian Burial at 11 Am. Kenneth will be laid to rest in Hope Haven Garden of Memory Cemetery, 604 E.
