

Lester "Duke" Dupuy departed this earth for his heavenly home on Tuesday, November 18, 2014. He passed at his home surrounded by his family and loving caregivers at his side. He was 77 years old. He was laid to rest at Carpenter's Chapel in Galvez at a private graveside service as he had requested with a small gathering of friends and relatives at his home after the service. Duke served our country as a Naval machinist aboard the USS Ozbourne from 1959-1963. Duke is survived by his three daughters and their husbands, Carla Dupuy Sons and Larry, Leslie Dupuy King and Kelly, Barbara Dupuy Percle and Lyle; grandchildren, David and Chassity McAllister, Justin McAllister, Michael Dakota McAllister, Kody King, Kolton King, Brennan Percle, Noah Percle and Noelle Percle, Michael and Holly Sons, Jeff and Robin Pendergrass, Jason and Tabitha Reynolds, Christie Chileno, Tiffany Sons, Landon and Erin Sons; great-grandchildren Brenden Quinn, Hagen McAllister and Andi McAllister and numerous great-grandchildren; sisters, Dorothy Malone and Linda Clark. He is preceded in death by his wife, Rita Fern Nickens; parents, Emma James and Alphonse Joseph Dupuy and grandson, Brandon Keith Crawford.
