Louise M. Frederic

Louise Molea Frederic passed away at 7:53 p.m. Thursday, November 30, 2023 at Ascension Oaks Nursing and Rehabilitation Center with her loving family by her side. Louise Molea Frederic was 91 and a native of Akron, Ohio and a resident of St. Amant. She retired from the Ascension Parish School Board after 15 years of service as a food service technician. Visitation will be held at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church in St. Amant, on Thursday, December 7, 2023 from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Jon Kohler, celebrant. Entombment in Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church mausoleum. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Julious "Bugg" and Odile Amedee Frederic; two daughters and sons-n-law, Barbara and Dean LeBourgeois, and Gaynel and Micah Sanchez; one sister Diane Molea Moran; one brother Salvatore "Sam" Molea; grandchildren, Damien and Monique LeBourgeois, Chad and Andi Gautreau, Jason and Brianne Patty, Stefen and Melissa Sheets and Dane and Aerelle Sanchez; and her great grandchildren and great-great grandchild. She is proceeded in death by her husband of 60 years, Julious Benton Frederic Sr.; grandsons Brett Michael Frederic and John Devin Sanchez; parents Samuel and Frances Molea; siblings Anthony Molea, Jack Molea, Joseph Molea, Benny Molea, Antoinette Welcher, Norma Moran, Josephine Mowery, Frances Bourgeois, and Anna Marchand. Pallbearers will be Damien LeBourgeois, Brody LeBourgeois, Taylor Templet, Jason Patty, Chad Gautreau, and Stefen Sheets. Honorary pallbearer will be Dane Sanchez. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation and gratitude to Bobbie Harrell, Ascension Oaks Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, and Baton Rouge Hospice for their care over the last few years and months.
