Louise was a happy, intelligent and witty person who always said "people can be happy or sad, I chose to be happy", keeping the same attitude even through many years of illness. She loved cooking for the family gatherings that occurred at her home most every weekend. A great scrabble player, that really enjoyed helping other players find the best words. She liked all types of puzzles, card games with the kids, and recently got hooked on Words with Friends. She loved her small garden and flowers, and days at the camp on the river. She took in many different generations of family members to live with her over the years. And always kept a calendar of everyone's birthdays, anniversaries, and all other special days to make sure she could celebrate those special times with her friends and extended family. The last time she was able to leave home, was to attend the birthday of a great grandchild.
She was especially grateful for all the friends and family, near and far, that kept visiting and calling her when her body, but not her mind, slowed down. On her last days, she was happily surrounded by many of her loved ones to visit, reminisce, laugh, and on one beautiful occasion sing old hymns with her.
The family has much gratitude for the special efforts towards Mom from Kimberly Rowe, Diane Devillier, Ron Keller, Juanita Cook, Joevelyn Nadeau, Ronnie Wales, Ginger Green, Lorraine (Aunt Wainy) and Gerolyn Lambou, Sage Garrett, super neighbors Tommy and Carolyn Lacombe.

Her great great grandchildren are Jimmy, Michael, and Misha Collums. Candi "Keller" Cerral and Topsi Jackson became special daughters, who she loved greatlDr Michael Keller, was always there as family, and always there as a care giver with love.
She much appreciated the care of Dr Robert Elliot at the Mastology Center, for helping her maintain a high quality of life over some eight years of treatments.
