

A native of Monroe, LA and resident of Prairieville, LA; Mrs. Freeman passed away on Friday, Oct. 9 at Our Lady of the Lake Medical Center. She was 66 years old and taught Art at St. Jean Vianney School to all students Kindergarten through 8th grade. She is survived by her: Husband- Michael Kenneth Freeman, Sr. of Prairieville, LA; 3 Sons- Michael Freeman, Jr., Byron Freeman and Nathaniel Freeman all of Baton Rouge, LA; 1 Daughter- LauraLea Ray of Coppell, TX; 2 Sisters- Nancy Hall of Denham Springs, LA and Jeanette Gregory of Natchitoches, LA; 3 Brothers- Phillip Fried of Baton Rouge, LA., Jimmy Fried of Calhoun, LA., and Richard Fried of Paoli, IN; 9 Grandchildren- Gabriel Freeman, Samuel Freeman, Eli Ray, Keller Ray, Alex Freeman, Mikey Freeman, Matthew Freeman, Hunter Freeman, and Alisa Freeman. She is preceded in death by her Parents- Glenn and Geraldine Fried.
Visiting will be at Ourso Funeral Home in Gonzales on Monday, October 12, 2015 from 5pm until 9pm and resume at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Prairieville on Tuesday, October 13th from 9:30am until Mass of Christian Burial at 11am. A graveside service will be at her final resting place on Wednesday, October 14th at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Gray, LA. at 10:30. Pallbearers will be Michael Freeman, Jr., Nathaniel Freeman, Byron Freeman, Jimmy Fried, Phillip Fried, and Richard Fried. Honorary Pallbearers will be Michael Freeman, Sr., Cooper Ray, Hunter Freeman, Mikey Freeman, and Matthew Freeman.
