

Mickey was a woman whose warmth and vibrant spirit touched all who knew her. She had a deep love for her family, especially her cherished grandchildren, with whom she created countless memories on vacations and special outings. Her joy was found in life’s simple pleasures.
Known for her playful nature, Mickey had a wonderful sense of humor and was a true practical joker who loved to make others smile and laugh. She never met a stranger and had a gift for making everyone feel welcome. Her kind, loving, and caring heart defined her life, and her strong faith and devotion to her religion guided her every step.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Kristie and Rex Wiley; her son and daughter-in-law, Dwayne and Beth Bourgeois; her brothers, Tyrone Walker, and Barry Walker (Kathy); her four grandchildren, Ashlyn Bourgeois, Katelyn Spedale, Jacques Bourgeois (Anika), and Dylan Spedale; and her three great-granddaughters, Ade’lyne, Annalise, and Lainey. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews who will forever cherish her memory.
Mickey was preceded in death by her parents, Elisha and Esterlina “Sis” Legendre Walker.
Services will be held on Friday, May 29, 2026, at Ourso Funeral Home in Gonzales, Louisiana. Visitation will take place from 9:00 a.m. until the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. She will be laid to rest at St. Charles Cemetery in Luling, Louisiana, at 2:00 p.m.
Mickey’s legacy of love, laughter, and faith will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
