Myrtle Lorraine Orton, age 75, of Prairieville, Louisiana passed away on Friday, September 11, 2020. Myrtle was born October 15, 1944 in Jasper, Texas.

Myrtle enjoyed reading, music, her dogs Jasmine and Layla, swinging on her porch and most of all her family.

Myrtle is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Paul Howard Orton, Sr.; daughter Lois Lorraine Orton; and son Paul Howard Orton, Jr.; brother Monroe Fowler and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Myrtle was preceded in death by parents Ruthie Ammons and Samuel Fowler; brother Cecil Fowler; brother Clyde Fowler; brother Clifton Fowler; brother Robert "Nig" Fowler; brother William "Red" Fowler; sister Mary Lupus and sister Junita Shaw.
