Nina Cannon Brignac

Nina Cannon Brignac, loving wife, mother, and grandmother, died in her home on April 11, 2011. A resident of St. Amant, she was 96. She is survived by three daughters, Paula and husband Charles Borskey of St. Amant, LA, Patti and husband William Bailey of San Antonio, TX, and Karen Hope and husband Kenneth Nibling of Houston, TX; sister, Mrs. Audrey Sevario of Galvez, LA; nine grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and 11 great-great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband, Hector Brignac; daughter, Audrey Jean Martin; parents, Eugene and Lydia Cannon; and four brothers, Garland, Alton, Guy, and Eugene B. Cannon Jr. Visitation will be held at Ourso Funeral Home in Gonzales on Wednesday, April 13 from 4 pm until 9 pm. Visitation will resume on Thursday, April 14 at New River United Methodist Church in St. Amant from 9 am until religious services at 1 pm, conducted by Rev. Russ Clunan. Interment at New River Methodist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers are Myer Martin Jr., Chuck Borskey, Timothy Martin, Clay Borskey, Chuck Ware, and Kyle Nibling.
