

After a long battle with diabetes, she was called home to be with God her savior on October 12, 2011 at the age of 65. She was a native of Chicago, Illinois and a longtime resident of Gonzales. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband Joseph A. “Bubba” Chustz Jr.; two sons, Andrew “Andy” Chustz and fiancé Roxane Talbot and Denny Chustz and wife Joni; grandchildren, Christian and Camille Chustz, Brittany and Cody Courtney; Riley Regira, and Ava and McKensie Chustz; lifelong friend, Debbie Lee; sister-in-law, Faye Chustz Williams and husband Rodney; brother-in-law, Timmy Williams; niece, Alicia Williams; nephew, Bobby Williams; cousins, Pam Achord and Loretta Speligene; as well as numerous family in Carrier Mills, Illinois and Batesville, Arkansas. Preceded in death by her parents, Haskel and Waunda Coupland Hanold and her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Iris Tate Chustz and Joseph A. Chustz Sr. A memorial gathering will be held at Ourso Funeral Home, Gonzales on Saturday, October 15, 2011 from 11 am until memorial service at 1:30 pm. Inurnment will follow at Hope Haven Garden of Memory Mausoleum, Prairieville. Honorary pallbearers are Christian Chustz, Rodney Williams, Bobby Williams, Tommy “Corky” Schittone, Billy Leonard, Jimmy Dykes, Marty Mitchell, and Frank Cangelosi.
