Ralph Lee Bergeron Jr.

GONZALES – Memorial Services and Mass will be conducted for Mr. Ralph Lee Bergeron, Jr., age 73, at 1:00 pm Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at St. Theresa of Avila Catholic Church with Rev. Eric Gyan officiating. Inurnment will follow at Oak Lane Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm on Wednesday at the church.

A resident of Gonzales, Mr. Bergeron passed away at 1:08 pm on Sunday, July 27, 2014 at his residence.

Mr. Bergeron was retired from E.I. Dupont in Burnside after working with the company for 30 years. He was an avid fisherman, enjoyed LSU Sports, his dogs and building model airplanes. He will be missed dearly by all who loved him.

He is survived by his wife, Martha Lee Davis Bergeron; children, Marti Bergeron Borne and husband David, Chad Bergeron and Asta Harris, Lori Bergeron Lambert and husband Brad, Jana Bergeron Roussel and Amy Watts Kernan; son-in-law, Michael Roussel, Jr.; grandchildren, Jessie, Hannah and Grace Borne, Luke, Annie and Eli Lambert, Mary Claire, Emma, Frances and Hance Roussel, Cale and Cade Kernan, Gina Skrockaite; brother, Mike Bergeron and wife Starr and brother-in-law, Charles Davis and Pam

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph Lee Bergeron, Sr. and Dorothy Bueche Bankston.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Joseph Hospice (225-769-4810) and the ALS Association of Baton Rouge (1-800-891-3746.)

The family would like to thank St. Joseph Hospice for the excellent care they provided to Mr. Bergeron.
