Raymond "RJ" James Daigle

GONZALES-Raymond “RJ” James Daigle Died on Thursday, December 17, 2015 at the age of 72. He was a resident of Gonzales for the past 17 years and was a former resident of Lafayette, LA and Kenner, LA. In 1977, he founded the family business of RJ Daigle & Sons Contractors. In the past, he was the co-owner D & O Contractors and general manager of Donald G. Lambert Contractors. He has been a loving husband, father, father-in-law, grandfather and friend to all and will be missed. Raymond was preceded in death by his loving wife of 51 years, Priscilla Hebert Daigle, his lovely and only granddaughter, Jamie Marie and his parents, Anna Belle Boutin Daigle and Ariel Daigle. He is survived by his loving sons, Vance James Daigle and wife Charlene (Daigle) Daigle, Ronnie James Daigle and wife Wendy Giardina Daigle and grandchildren, Nicholas, Jamie, Ethan and Colin Daigle. Visitation will held at St. Theresa of Avila Catholic Church in Gonzales on Monday, December 21, 2015 from 9:00 am until 11:00 am with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11am. Entombment will follow at Hope Haven Mausoleum in Gonzales. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Mr. Daigle’s name to the Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center.
