Reno was welcomed at the heavenly gates by his late wife, Irene Lee Gregoire. He was the loving father of Wanda Singletary (the late Darrel), the late Stacey Pugeau, Torey Braud (Durel) and Reno Gregoire Jr. (Hope). Those that were blessed to call him “Paw”, his 8 grandchildren Bree Thompson (John), Brandi Lee (Josh), Reid Gregoire (Brandi), Dustin Pugeau, Kaci Forman (Dan), Cody Braud (Ellen), Ryan Gregoire (Misty), Ryleigh Gregoire, Lauren Braud (Marin) and Hunter Braud and 16 great grandchildren Macey, Dane, Everett, Erit, Stevie, Jacqueline, Layla, Allie, Mollie, Caroline, Olivia, Ethan, Claire, Gavin, Maddox, Roman, Lillian, Hudson, Mallorie, Emery and Elyse. Reno was a hardworking man his whole life. He came from very little and learned how to live off the land as a young boy. He carried his work ethic throughout his working years. He retired from Kaiser Aluminum and then went on to start his own business, Reno’s Bait, Tackle and Seafood. He loved working at his store, being able to meet new people and talking to old friends. He truly never met a stranger. Reno always enjoyed being outdoors and fishing. He loved watching all sports, especially LSU. But, above all he loved his family unconditionally. He was a devoted husband, a loving father and a proud Paw. His warm smile and big hugs will be missed by many.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian burial at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in St. Amant on Saturday, June 22, 2024 @ 11:00AM, the visitation will begin at 9:00AM.
