He was united in holy matrimony to Aida Patricia Brumfield in April of 1988. This union was blessed with three children.
Roger was gifted with a kind, empathetic heart, and an incredible singing voice. His greatest joy was singing for the glory of God Almighty. It was his mission to inform all who he met of the only hope we have in Jesus Christ.
He suddenly departed this life Saturday, January 15, 2022 in a motorcycle accident in Prairieville, Louisiana. He was preceded in death by his wife Patricia Brumfield on March 12, 2014.
His beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of his children: David Brumfield of New York, New York, Grace Sellers, and Michael Brumfield, both of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; son-in-law Zachary Sellers, and granddaughter Isabella Sellers.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Roger's life on Saturday, January 22, 2022 at Ourso Funeral Home in Gonzales, the memorial visitation will begin at 2pm with the service beginning at 3pm.
