Ronald Anthony McAdams

A devoted husband and loving father, he passed away on Wednesday, August 21, 2013. He was 69 and a resident of Gonzales. He was born to the late Gordon Lee and Alice Tregle McAdams in Gretna. He served in the U.S. Air Force and had retired as a plant supervisor from Union Texas Petroleum. Visiting will be at Ourso Funeral Home, Gonzales on Friday, August 23 from 5 pm to 9 pm. Visiting will resume at St. Theresa Church, Gonzales on Saturday, August 22, 2013 from 9 am until Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am. Burial to follow in the church cemetery. He is survived by his cherished daughters and their spouses, Tonya Adams and husband Gregg, Katina Allemand and husband Wade, and Anica Haynes and husband Shannon; brother, Douglas McAdams and wife Patricia; and his beloved grandchildren, Connor Morrison, Haleigh Haynes, Drew Allemand and two others on the way; sister-in-law, Sylvia Norman and husband, Eric; and a brother-in-law, Bobby Marchand. He was preceded in death by his wife of 39 years, Janice Seely McAdams; daughter, Kendra McAdams and a sister, Ginger Marchand. Pallbearers will be Connor Morrison, Wade Allemand, Shannon Haynes, Gregg Adams, Billy Hertzell and Hubert "Nick" Nicholas, Jr. Ronald was a family man who enjoyed the company of his kids and grandkids. He also was extremely handy and his three girls knew who to call to come fix almost anything.
