
On June 8, 2016 Sharon Holder Stephens won her long battle with cancer. She was surrounded by her family when the Lord gave her the ultimate healing. He took her home. Today she stands disease and pain free at the feet of Jesus. She is survived by her husband, Paul Stephens, children, Jonathan Niles Stephens 28, Victoria Elisabeth Stephens 23 and Katherine Arielle Stephens 14; Father, Richard Reed Holder Sr., mother, Patricia Sigmon Holder; Mother-in-law, Poly Trahan Stephens, Brothers, Robert Holder, Patrick Holder, Alexander Holder, Andrew Holder, Joe Sigmon, Gavin Fisher, sisters, Karen Holder Summers(twin), Melissa Holder Arceneaux, Aimee' Holder Imami; Brother-in-laws, Dwayne Arceneaux, Jim Summers, Abdel Imami, Joe Lindley, Sergio Juarez; Sister-in-laws, Stephanie Holder, Alicia Holder, Apple Holder, Brenda Stephens Lindley, Konah Stephens, Reka Stephens, and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by brother Richard Reed Holder Jr, Father-in-law Rev. Henry Austin Stephens. Sharon was a graduate of St. Amant High School and Phoenix University. She was a Technology Business Analyst, employed by Blue Cross & Blue Shield of LA. She was an avid supporter and promoter of Kelli's Kloset, a place where woman diagnosed with Cancer can find beautiful clothes and accessories for their changing bodies at no cost to them. She was a active member of Fellowship Church in Prairieville LA. where she was involved with the sign language ministry for the hearing impaired. Along with her family she helped start and advance several thriving churches over the years. Her greatest love was her love for her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and she also spent her entire adult life striving to show the world His great love through the living out of the Gospel. To her last day, her wish was that all who knew her would come to the saving grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and that her children would all grow in His grace and serve Him with their entire lives. We will be celebrating her life Saturday the 11th at, Fellowship Church, 14363 LA 73, Prairieville LA 70769. 225-673-4735.
