Shirley "Ann" Luce

Shirley “Ann” Luce, a native of Galvez and resident of Gonzales, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Carl “Tex” Luce; children, Cheryl Luce Richardson and husband, Danny, Carl Luce Jr. and wife, Nancy; Angela Luce Abadie and husband, Lyman; grandchildren, Brad and Kristyn Richardson, Paige and Brentley Marchand, Keri and Derrick Rushing, Jeff and Lauren Luce, Alli and Brian Babin, Stacy and Jesse Rodrigue; great-grandchildren, Reese Richardson, Jaci Faught, Cale and Broden Marchand, Gabe and Max Rushing, Avyn and Axel Rodrigue, and two on the way; siblings, Andrew and Sandy Ficklin, Judy and Moran Watson, Janie and Juba Diez. Ann is preceded in death by her parents, Gussie and Louise Ficklin; sister, Bonnie Penalber; granddaughter, Kati Ann Richardson. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at Ourso Funeral Home of Gonzales from 9:00 am until service time at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Ficklin Family Cemetery. Tenny Ficklin, Lyman Abadie, Danny Richardson, Brad Richardson, Jeff Luce, and Juba Diez will serve as pallbearers.
