Tammy Rose Long, 61, of Baton Rouge, LA, passed away on Wednesday, January 22, 2025. Tammy was a vibrant and spirited woman who had a natural ability to light up a room with her infectious sense of humor and easy laughter. She had a heart full of love for her family, friends, and all who knew her. Tammy found joy in the little things—coloring, fishing, and getting lost in her favorite TV shows. She had an amazing ability to make people smile, often finding humor even in the most challenging moments. Tammy’s zest for life and her caring, playful nature made her someone unforgettable. She is preceded in death by her parents, Frazier Long and Rose Brewer; her brother, David Long; and her daughter, Toni "Sugar" Stringer. Tammy is survived by her daughter, Kerri (Cory) Stringer; grandchildren, Jude Stringer, Taylor Stringer, Zowie Cox, and Laken Edwards; and her beloved sisters, Sheryl Clark, Jackie Hollier, Carol Long, Shree Catapano, and Roseanne Haldorson. A Celebration of Tammy's Life will be held at a later date.
