Timothy Neff

Timothy Wayne Neff passed away on Saturday, January 29, 2022 at the age of 54. He was a native of Walled Lake, Michigan and a resident of Prairieville, Louisiana. Tim graduated from Walled Lake Western HS and received his Bachelor’s degree from Madonna University, beginning his career as a Registered Nurse. Starting a new chapter in his life with his wife, Tim moved to Louisiana away from cold winters to the warmth of the South where he quickly came to love the culture. He was a kind, caring, and compassionate person. His family describes him as a social butterfly because Tim loved to talk and meet new people. Tim had a great sense of humor and always strived to make people laugh and smile. He was an avid sports fan, his favorite sports being football and golf. He loved to root for the University of Michigan. During his retirement, Tim enjoyed going to the casino and fishing.

He is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Annemarie “Renee” Neff; Sons, Ryan Neff (Jamie), Mason Neff and Dog-son, Milo; Mother-in-law, Cecily Hockenbury; Brother, Bob Harland (Connie); Sister, Nicole Brodie (Charles); Brother-in-laws, Tim Hockenbury (Gail), Terry Hockenbury (Joane’) and Kevin Hockenbury; Cousins, Michele and Kevin; and Marvin Neff (Chalan). He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews in PA, MD, NJ, FL, MS & MI. He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Ellen Harland; maternal and paternal grandparents.
