Vivian Lambert Bourque

Vivian Ann Lambert Bourque, a native of Brignac and resident of Gonzales, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at the age of 75. Vivian was a founding member of St. Mark Catholic Church. She was highly involved with her church community, in ministries such as Ladies Altar Society, an advisor for the CYO, CCD teacher and volunteered at numerous church fairs. Vivian belonged to Friends Of Ascension as well as several other community groups. She was a part owner of Sunshine Center Laundromat, Bayou Estate Utilities, and Cajun Inn Motel. Vivian had a kind heart and loved her family deeply, especially her children and grandchildren. In her spare time, she enjoyed traveling, dancing, and gardening. She is survived by her loving husband, Leslie "Les" Paul Bourque III; son, Paul Anthony Bourque and fiancé, Terri Nall Mynatt; grandchildren, Ronnie Paul Bourque, Ryan David Bourque, Tyler Bennett Mynatt, and Caroline Mae Mynatt; siblings, Whitney Lambert and wife, Margaret, Marshall Lambert, Cecelia Lambert Pasqua, Patrick Lambert and wife, Linda; In-Laws, Shirley Mire Bourque, Vicky and Dianne Bourque, Neal and Connie Bourque, Dawn and Kirt Soileau, Stacy and Mike Stephens, Barbara Britt Lambert and Denis Marchand and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Vivian is preceded in death by her parents, Bernadette and Silas Lambert; Father-in-law, L.P. Bourque, Jr.; son, Robert Paul Bourque; siblings, Fabian and Wildred Kling, Earline and Joe "Boy" Lavigne, Lloyd Lambert, Joan Lambert Marchand, Baby Lambert, In-laws, Joycelyn Pertuis Lambert, Bobbie Mayers Lambert, Billy Sanchez; Visitation will be held on Friday, August 5, 2016 at Ourso Funeral Home of Gonzales from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm. Visitation will resume on Saturday, August 6, 2016 at St. Mark Catholic Church from 8:30 am until Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am.
