Wesley James Fontenot

Wesley James Fontenot was a native of Whitehall and a resident of Castro Valley, California. Wesley passed away August 28, 2018 in San Leandro, CA at the age of 89. He was Co-Owner of Southwest Aero Space Corp. in CA until his retirement, a Registered Professional Engineer in the State of California and a veteran of the U. S. Marine Corp. There will be a visitation for Wesley at St. Stephens Catholic Church in Maurepas on Saturday, September 8, 2018 from 9:00 AM until a service of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM celebrated by Deacon Jimmy Little with burial to follow at Whitehall Community Cemetery in Whitehall, La. Pallbearers will be James Fontenot, Ryan Warren, Jordan LeBlanc, Lucas Miles, Brandon Fontenot, Harold Fontenot, Terry Fontenot and Logan Fernandez. Wesley is survived by his wife, Margie Lemos Fontenot of Castro Valley, CA; 1 daughter and son-in-law, Annette Marie Fontenot and Robert Paredes of CA; 2 sons and 1 daughter-in-law, John Wesley Fontenot of CA and Larry L. Stromberg and Janet of Idaho; 2 sisters, Ernestine Fontenot and Robert Hoyle of Slidell, LA, Ella M. Fontenot of Whitehall, LA; 2 brothers and sisters-in-law, Noblisse Fontenot and Emelda of Whitehall, LA and Mack A. Fontenot and Juanita of Ponchatoula, LA; 8 grandchildren, Ian C. Stromberg, Michael Hertling, James Wesley Fontenot, Ryan R. Warren, Patricia "Christina" Warren, Bryce C. Fontenot, Lucille Rose "Lucy" Fontenot and Darla Jane Fontenot and numerous great grandchildren. Wesley is preceded in death by his first spouse, Patricia Morris Fontenot; father, Jules Fontenot; mother, Eunice Dupuy Fontenot, and brothers, Joseph, Ernest, Hilton and Holton Fontenot.
