Willis John Broussard

Willis John Broussard, age 81, passed away at his home on Tuesday, July 7, 2015. He was a native of Milton, LA, and resident of Prairieville, LA. Willis was a 4th degree Knight of Columbus who loved his church. Willis loved and cared for his family deeply. He enjoyed making bird houses, wine, and cooking. Willis also enjoyed working to accomplish his bucket list as well as spending time with his children and grandchildren at the camp. Willis is survived by his sons, Gerald Wayne Broussard and wife, Patricia Prest Broussard, Mark Shannon Broussard and wife, Donna Carole Broussard, Craig Robert Broussard and wife, Mary Elizabeth Broussard; sister, Inez Blanchard; brother, Junior Lee Broussard; grandchildren, Jeremy Willis Broussard, Jason Curtis Broussard, Jonathan Wayne Broussard, Jennifer Celeste Broussard, Blake Aaron Broussard, Brooke Reneé Broussard, Connor Robert Broussard, Olivia Beverly Broussard; great-grandchildren, Gabriel Broussard, Trevor Broussard, Braden Broussard, Ashton Broussard, Annsley Broussard, and Peyton Broussard. Willis is preceded in death by his loving wife, Thelma Marie Landry Broussard; parents, Aymre and Blanche Premeaux Broussard; sister, Rose Rita Stevens; brother, Lawrence John Broussard. A memorial gathering will held on Thursday, July 9, 2015, at St. John Catholic Church from 12:00 pm until a memorial service at 1:00 pm. Interment will immediately follow at Oak Lane Memorial Park.
