Tillie Ann Evan

Funeral Services are under the direction of Buffington Funeral Home in Gonzales, Texas and will be held Saturday, May 10, 2014 at 10 A.M. at Saint James Catholic Church in Gonzales, Texas with Father Paul Raaz officiating. Interment will follow at the Saint James Catholic Cemetery in Gonzales, Texas. There will be a Rosary on Friday, May 9, 2014 at 7 P.M. at the Buffington Funeral Home Chapel in Gonzales, Texas with Deacon John Klapuch officiating.

Tillie Ann Evan was born in Dilworth, Texas on July 12, 1919. She was the daughter of Jim Charles and Betty (Palitza) Vinklarek. She married Charles Louis Evan on October 28, 1941 in Saint James Catholic Church in Gonzales, Texas. Tillie lived in the country most of her life and enjoyed her cattle until age and her health forced her to move to town.

Tillie is survived by her daughter, Frances and her husband Ben Monette of Victoria, Texas, sister; Anna Laura Burger of Gonzales, Texas, one grandchild; Gregory Monette of Victoria, Texas, numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Jim Charles and Betty (Palitza) Vinklarek, her husband; Charles Louis Evan, son; Eugene Charles Evan, sisters; Marie Calhoun, Lillie Garvel.
