Bobby Milton Boner

Bobby is survived by his wife of 53 years, Irene Boner, his four children, Michael Boner (Rhonda), Michelle Chance, Melissa Maples (Danny), Matthew Boner (Teresa), five grandchildren, seven step grandchildren, one great grandchild, and eighteen step great grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings Katherine Harper (James), Rhetha Black, and Linda Cox, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Bobby was a veteran of the US Marines. He was a lifetime honorary member of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters with 52 years of service with Local 223 of Nashville. He was a journeyman carpenter and served as Business Representative for 20 years until his retirement. He was a Master Mason and was a 30 year member of #560 Masonic Lodge, a member of the Al Menah Shriners, and he was a 32nd degree Scottish Rite Mason.

He loved taking care of his farm, his many animals, and making moonshine. Most of all Bobby loved his family and friends and he was truly loved.

He will be greatly missed by all.

A funeral service will be conducted 2pm Saturday, May 28, 2016 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home with Pastor David Royalty officiating. A Military burial will follow in the Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation with the family will be held Friday from 4pm until 8pm and Saturday 12pm until 2pm at the funeral home.
