I was so sad to hear the news about your Mom. I can't begin to express to you how sorry I am. 

Growing up across the street from you, There are so many of my childhood memories that have your Mom somewhere in them. She was such a firecracker and boy, did we have fun!! I remember late night sleep overs with countless pans of nachos that your Mom made for us...long before we had Taco Bell on every corner! Am I crazy or do most of my memories have her in that kitchen cooking (for us!)or sitting around the table playing cards with my parents and Ronnie?  
She always treated me like part of the family and made me feel so welcome. If you guys were going somewhere, she just piled me in the car too!I loved her for that.
You're Mom was beautiful, inside and out and I feel blessed to have known her and loved her.
I'm so sorry I missed the funeral, I was out of town and I did not know..

To all of Carolyn's family--I loved Carolyn the first time I met her at Highland Heights Junior High School with her twin sister, Nan. The next thing I know, we've graduated, got married, had kids and began playing baseball at Madison Little League. The ball field is where most of my memories of Carolyn are; she was a lot of fun during our high school days also. Tommy and I were so sorry to hear about Carolyn's passing.I haven't seen the twins' for a very long time so I didn't know Carolyn was ill. I found out from a former classmate who went to Hume-Fogg with us. May Carolyn rest in peace and be free of pain and suffering.

Nanny, I love you and miss you so much. i know you fought very hard to defeat this battle but it was to strong. I know you feel much better now that you don't have to suffer. I know that you will be my angel and guide me down the right road in my life. Thank you for everything you have done for every one in our family i know they love you for that.you will be missed but someday we all be with you to share the good times again!! Carolyn I love you with all my heart and today I feel a void that will never be filled.  We may not have seen everything  eye to eye, but we always knew we loved each other.  The last time I saw you, you kissed me on the lips and I will carry that memory forever.

I am so sad for our loss of Carolyn.  She was so pretty and so much FUN.  I will never forget Ferrill teasing her and she never let him get to her, she came right back with a bigger statement. Remember the good times and the love you all shared.  We will see her again sometime. She is so happy, at peace and never to be in pain again.
