The value of my friendship with Delores is beyond measure.  We were friends from childhood and there are countless happy times to remember.  I treasure that last visit that Dale made possible, just a week ago!  She made special memories for many of us that will live in our hearts and keep her close.  ❤

Such special memories in my childhood of at least one trip per year to Nashville when my brother, John, had his annual checkup at Vanderbilt.  I remember Delores well and how she helped her mom make the most delicious meals.  She and her family gave 400% to hospitality and we have wonderful memories of all the times we were together.  She served every member of her family in sickness and in health   Although I have not seen her for many years, I know her hospitality continued all her days.  Her pleasantness and her smile were cherished gifts to the rest of us.  She is, without a doubt, one person that everyone loved.  She will be missed by all who knew her.  My condolences to the rest of the family.  


A beautiful soul who was an inspiration to all. She will be deeply missed. Her Christ filled life will influence generations. My deepest sympathy to Earl and family. 
I cannot imagine Nashville without Delores.

Sorry, we can’t make the Funeral but due to the increase of COVID cases, we thought it best to stay home.  

We first met Delores when she & Uncle Earl took a trip to NZ to visit Dad (the late Brian Wilson) and my step mother, Polly Wilson (nee Gowins) early in their marriage. We have very many happy memories of that trip and thoroughly enjoyed being in the company of them both. It is with great sadness that we hear of the passing of Delores. May the very many happy memories you have of her, and the knowledge that she has been called home, to a better place,  comfort you in this time of sadness. We are thinking of you all at this time. 

I just wanted to express my condolences on the passing of Delores.  She was a great inspiration and help.  She will be sorely missed but know she is in a better place.  Prayers of comfort for Earl, Dale, Doug and all the family.  I am sorry I can attend the funeral but need to stay home because COVID is so rampant right now.  Love to all.

Delores was my assistant at our law firm for many years and I benefited immeasurably from the kind attention and wise guidance she provided to me over our long time together.  Her smile and good humor and sincere care for all of us created a feeling of family in our work place that was unique.  She of course had excellent technical skills that always enhanced the work that we did for clients, but her friendly, kind and gentle nature and genuine concern for others were really the outstanding qualities that  defined her.  We all loved her dearly and will miss her greatly.   My condolences to her family.  May she rest in peace.

I’m so thankful to have shared friendship and fellowship with Delores through the years. She truly had a heart full of Grace and love for all. 

I’m so very glad I got to visit with her for one last time when I got back to Nashville in July. She always had that big smile, no matter what her condition. What a wonderful example of a life lived fully for God. She will be missed by many. Sending sympathy to Earl, Doug and Dale.

Delores has always been a special friend.   Her parents were instrumental in bringing my parents in touch with the gospel ... we will all be eternally grateful for the rich influence of the Richardson family. Delores was a very special friend to me.  I went on my 1st and only trip to the beach with her.

She took Rick and I out to eat at a Japanese Restaurant, (our 1st) on our wedding night 30 years ago. She rode in the back seat and put a "Just Married" sign in the back window and laughed and said, "I look like the mother-in- law" tagging along.
She was indeed a special friend.
