Delores was an alumni of Hume Fogg High School, class of 1960. She began her career with Denney, Lackey, and Chernau law firm, Nashville. She professed her Christian belief at a young age, then left Nashville at age 23 to dedicate herself full-time to the ministry of Christ, sharing the gospel story of her Christian faith in Georgia, North Carolina, and South Carolina. After 22 years, she returned to Nashville and retired from Bass, Berry, and Sims.
Delores will be missed by her loving husband, by her family, by those who visited her open home, by those she shared faith and fellowship, by her neighbors, by her long-time friends, and by many to whom she seemed a “Mother.” A dear, sweet lady, loved by everyone! “Well done, good and faithful servant.”
